There is no restaurant on site but manager suggested a couple of places to eat (nearly everything in town was closed due to CoVid19). Lovely place and recommend for anyone staying in Stanley.

Two bedroom unit easy to access, rooms clean but abit tired, needs a makeover, heater worked well (we needed it), beds comfy, views sensational. Made traveling with a toddler much easier as we could prepare a few snacks and had a dedicated place to feed. Staff was very friendly and courteous and check in was a breeze. We also requested a late check out and were given a very welcome additional hour. There is no restaurant on site and one has to drive a couple of km into town to eat out. The location though is much nicer than in town as it's very quiet and has a much nicer view as it's on a hill. Playground on site to entertain kids too. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Stanley. More

On checking... read more in I found we had been upgraded to a two bedroom unit, number 1, because a customer already staying at the Inn had requested an additional night. The unit we were allocated had a beautiful view looking out to The Nut. It had a small balcony where you could sit and have meals enjoying the view. The unit was very clean, had a small kitchenette with some cooking utensils provided and a good sized clean bathroom. It was very quiet as it was separated from the next unit by parking space. We found the unit to be well furnished and the bed to be very comfortable. Also not long after we made our booking Clint and Katinka sent us email with suggestions of things to do around Stanley which was very helpful. I did not meet Clint but I found Katinka to be very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay here and if the occasion arose would be happy to stay here again. More

Food was great and the service was good. Breakfast was at Moby Dicks and was fantastic. Excellent coffee. Unfortunately, on the morning we climbed the Nut (some by foot, some by cable car), there was quite a heavy fog which obscured the view out over the ocean. However, there is still a lovely walk around the top of this landmark with plenty of information to read and lots of wildlife to experience We also took in the Highfield Historic Site which is located high above Stanley. The restored home is beautifully lit up over night and is a wonderful landmark for the town. Undoubtedly, the highlight of our visit was watching the arrival of the penguins onto the beach at Kings Park. This attraction can be a bit hit or miss dependent on the cooperation of the penguins, but we were fortunate and treated to dozens of the creatures arriving at the beach around 9.00pm and entertaining us for over half an hour. The kitchen had everything needed to look after oneself. The heating was a wall heater which wAs excellent, it heated the whole area. The beds were good, with electric blankets. The bathroom was roomy with room to put things. The only bugbear was the shower with a shower head which was close to the wall, and I couldn’t get close enough to it to get the water over me properly. Parking next to the unit was great, with plenty of space. I would stay here again happily. More
