The kitchen had everything needed to look after oneself. The heating was a wall heater which wAs excellent, it heated the whole area. The beds were good, with electric blankets. The bathroom was roomy with room to put things. The only bugbear was the shower with a shower head which was close to the wall, and I couldn’t get close enough to it to get the water over me properly. It was quite adequate, but we do prefer a cooked breakfast when on tour as we are never certain where we will have lunch!! There was no evening dining room and we had no choice but to travel a short distance (2-3 km) to the town to dine. This is not the most attractive thing to do after a long day on the road.

The room was ok. Windows rattled in the constant wind till i jammed cardbourd in the bottom of the window frame.
Strange room layout with the bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and TV almost seem like an after thought.
King bed was very comfortable and as expected all other basic room appointments on offer.
Shame the restaurant wasnt open for evening meals as there arnt a huge amount of options in Stanley and im sure people staying would eat there rather than drive back into town. More

Some aspects of cleanliness were a little disappointing e.g crockery and kitchen/bathroom floors but otherwise fine. On a good note, staff at no charge, happily provided us and the other couple with a good supply of breakfast condiments as we didn't realise we would have a toaster ! Very friendly reception on checking in, our room was comfortable enough, however just a normal motel type room.
I find staying in motel accommodation very noisy as was the occasion here, noisy kids running everywhere and other quest talking quite loudly at 7.00am whilst packing their car, no chance of a sleep in. Not the fault of the Inn.
The bar was open from 5pm till 6pm (Happy Hour) would have been nice to have a little more time relaxing having a quiet drink after a day driving and sight seeing. More

The unit we were allocated had a beautiful view looking out to The Nut. It had a small balcony where you could sit and have meals enjoying the view. The unit was very clean, had a small kitchenette with some cooking utensils provided and a good sized clean bathroom. It was very quiet as it was separated from the next unit by parking space. We found the unit to be well furnished and the bed to be very comfortable. Also not long after we made our booking Clint and Katinka sent us email with suggestions of things to do around Stanley which was very helpful. I did not meet Clint but I found Katinka to be very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay here and if the occasion arose would be happy to stay here again. More

The bedding in both bedrooms was modern and very comfortable (super important) and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The mini bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced. I’ve just spent 7 days touring Tasmania and this was the best place I stayed in. It’s really worth paying the extra and getting a seaview spa room ..... read more although the “spa” bit is just a bath with those jets in it. The real jewel is the view from the verandah, which without exaggeration is stunning .. it was the loveliest of all my 6 hotel stops.
The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was large and thoughtfully furnished, with an excellent bathroom. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. And there was plenty of coffee, tea and sugar in the room, which made a nice change from the usual tight portion control.
Good strength wifi and plenty of parking. Go for room 18 or 19 if you have a choice.
I had dinner at the Stanley Hotel, which was one of the two best meals I had on the trip (the other was at The Jailhouse in Launceston).
A tip .. don’t leave it till the last minute to book .. do it at least the evening before.
